The parents of a Crofton teenager who died last year after being attacked by other teens plan to sue the assailants and the Anne Arundel County school board.Christopher Jones, 14, was riding his bicycle home last May when he was surrounded by a group of youths and beaten. He fell to the ground and hit his head, eventually dying from his injuries.

Child Found Wandering In Laurel Identified. Howard County police said they have identified a child found wandering in Laurel on Monday afternoon. The boy, believed to be between 2 and 3 years old, was found in the parking lot of Laurel Woods Elementary School on North Laurel Road shortly after 2 p.m.
Officer Suspended After Beating College Student. One Prince George’s County police officer has been suspended, and investigators are working to identify two others, after a video surfaced showing officers beating a University of Maryland student during a rowdy celebration of a basketball victory.Attorney Christopher Griffiths released video of the March 3 incident on Monday after charges against his client, 21-year-old John McKenna, were dropped.
