Politics in Annapolis came from behind to grab the top spot this week. Next week will likely be the same as Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen tries to close the budget deficit by laying off nearly 12% of the City’s workforce.  He will have a tough time with City Council considering he intends to create a new position in this budget for another City Attorney. And that does not even begin to address the issue of the executive protection now in place for the Mayor and the Chief Administrative Officer.
