29 Arrested 2 Released
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has released more details regarding yesterday’s raid at Timbuktu Restaurant. Details are slow to come out, however, we are in contact with ICE personnel and will update Eye On Annapolis accordingly. Please check back.
During the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement action yesterday in Hanover, Md, twenty-nine administrative arrests were made by agents. (28 males and 1 female) The individuals were from the following countries: Guatemala, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico and Bangladesh.
Of the 29, two were released for humanitarian reasons. The remaining 27 are in ICE custody held at the Howard County Detention Center and the Carroll County Detention Center. Family members can contact the Baltimore Detention and Removal Office at (410) 637-4000.
