Glen Burnie Man Sentenced On Child Porn Charges. Federal prosecutors said a Glen Burnie man has been sentenced to more than eight years in prison for distributing child pornography. George Walter Ford, 48, was sentenced on Wednesday. According to his plea agreement, the co-owner of a computer repair shop told law enforcement officers that when she transferred data from Ford’s computer to a new hard drive, she had seen images of boys performing sex acts with men.
Senate President: State Won’t Cut Teachers. The state won’t cut teachers to help deal with a $1.5 billion budget deficit next year, but school administrators and public relations employees may need to go, Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller said Tuesday.
