There will be a meeting at Annapolis Senior High School at 7pm on Monday night, November 9, 2009 to discuss gang awareness. State’s Attorney Frank Weathersbee and his staff will make a presentation in the Cafeteria beginning at 7pm.
While this has likely been on Weathersbee’s schedule for quite some time, Anne Arundel County Public Schools is just notifying parents today (2pm November 7, 2009), two days before the event. Certainly with the issues surrounding violence in the schools and the death of Christopher Jones last year, one would think the school system would be slightly more proactive.
