Been Bullied? Speak Up

bullyingAnne Arundel Schools Want Your Input

Can anyone forget the saga surrounding Christopher Jones? You remember, the teen who was attacked and killed while riding his bike in Crofton last May? While not a direct cause of the tragedy, school bullying appears to have played a part in the senseless killing.

Christopher’s death at the hands of a bully was one too many. It was not the first, and sadly, it will not be the last. Bullying is a problem in our schools and they need your input.

If your children are in the public schools they have likely been a victim or a witness to an act of bullying. Cafeteria fights are almost a daily occurrence.  You can help our schools solve this problem.

Please take the Anne Arundel County Schools Bullying Survey. It only takes a few minutes and the insight you provide as a parent is invaluable.  You will need to enter a parental access code to complete the survey and that code is tva452.

Please take a moment and help our schools become the safe haven for learning that each of our children deserve!
