Annapolis Man Charged In Teen’s Rape. Police have arrested a man wanted in the rape of a 17-year-old girl. Annapolis police officers were called to Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore early Sunday morning after a rape was reported. The victim told police she had been sexually assaulted at a house party in Annapolis between 1 and 3 a.m. Sunday.

Boy, 1, Missing From Baltimore Home. Baltimore police are looking for a 1-year-old boy reported missing from his home. Police are exploring an Amber Alert.

Obama Enlists Help Of Local Doctor. President Barack Obama called on a local doctor to push his health care reform agenda, as a Howard County pediatrician joined physicians from 50 states at the White House. Most doctors believe the existing health care system is ailing, according to a recent poll in the New England Journal of Medicine.

MD Approves H1N1 Vaccine Distribution Centers. Health officials and politicians are urging Maryland residents to get the swine flu vaccine that they said will be available, though in limited quantities, this week. The state has approved 888 distribution centers and 3,000 more are in the works. Clinical scheduling hasn’t been set. Officials said Monday that the vaccine is especially important for children, pregnant women, health care workers and adults with other health conditions.
