Cops Dragged By Drag Queens

This Is Punny

From WBAL Radio in it’s entirety–puns and all.

Prince George’s County police say two suspects shot by an off-duty officer after he was dragged by their car were men dressed in women’s clothes.

Officers had said after the incident Friday evening that two female suspects had been shot.

Twenty-three-year-old Jeffery Bright of Baltimore and 23-year-old Rodney Gordon Bailey of Washington were each charged with assault and theft. Both were treated for gunshot wounds at a local hospital.

Police say the off-duty officer, Officer First Class Jonathan Hill, was working security at the Rugged Warehouse store in College Park when he confronted two shoplifters.

The two fled the store and got into a car. Police said Hill was trying to stop the car from leaving when his arm got caught inside the door and the vehicle took off.

Police say the officer fired his weapon.
