According to the Baltimore Sun,26 year old John Walter Jennings III of the 800 block of Carrollton Avenue is being held on $1.5 million dollar bond after being charged with the rape of a 17-year old over the weekend.  He has been charged with 11 counts and is currently on probation for assaulting his fiancee.

On Sunday, Annapolis police were called to Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore about a rape. A 17-year-old said she was sexually assaulted between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. at a party in a home on Johnson Place in Annapolis. This was reported as an item in the Annapolis Police daily newsletter on Monday with few details.

According to the Sun, the victim claimed that a man she did not know – but whose nickname she was told was J-Dub – repeatedly asked her to go upstairs with him; but she rejected his advances. The victim told police that he forced her upstairs and into a second-floor bathroom and locked the door.

Jennings allegedly told her to not scream or fight or he would kill her and her family. He claimed to be a member of a gang. After the assault, he took $5 from the victim’s purse.
