WBAL-TV Speaks With Christopher Jones’ Mother
Our regional partner, WBAL-TV spoke with Christopher Jones’ mother this morning outside of the courtroom in Annapolis regarding the plea bargain.
Trey Robinson, entered an Alford plea which he acknowledged there was enough evidence to convict him of manslaughter but does not require an admission of guilt. Robinson apologized in court, saying, “I’m sorry this happened. I never intended for it to be like this.”
Christopher Jones’ mother is still trying to cope with the tragedy.
I’m a forgiving person, and I’m reading a great book right now called ‘Forgiving The Unforgivable’ … and honestly, I know that he killed my son and I know he played a big part in his death, but he’s still a child and I feel for him inside, and I really do hope that one day I can forgive him.
