Younger Teen Pleads To Manslaughter
The 15 year old boy accused of beating Christopher Jones to death last May entered a guilty plea to manslaughter this morning. While he did not admit any guilt, he admitted that the State had enough evidence to convict him.
The teen who was 14 at the time of the crime can be sentenced to a juvenile facility until he is 21. The other defendant in the case, Javel George is scheduled to stand trial as an adult in October. However, his attorney is negotiating that he too be tried in juvenile court allowing him to be released at 21.
