Anne Arundel County Police Seek Public Help

Giancoli Murder

Reward GiancoliOn Thursday August 27, 2009, at approximately 5:36 p.m., officers from the Anne Arundel County Northern District responded to the area of East Ordnance Road near Stahl Point Road for a report of an injured person. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Andrew Joseph Giancoli unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a 1998 blue Ford Explorer, which was parked on the side of the road. Andrew Giancoli was treated by paramedics for penetrating chest trauma and transported to an area hospital, where he died of his injuries. The death is being investigated as a homicide.

7-11 Robbery

Reward RobberyOn September 2, 2009, at approximately 4:46 a.m., an armed robbery occurred at the 7 Eleven Citgo Convenience Store located at 1401 Dorsey Road in Hanover. The suspect pictured to the left entered the store with a shotgun and announced a robbery. The suspect is described as a white male and was wearing a dark shirt, tan cargo type shorts, white socks, dark shoes, and a green and tan Halloween type mask.

The subject pictured here is possibly the suspect in the robbery. This subject entered and exited the store just prior to the robbery. He matched the suspect’s description and was wearing the same colored cargo shorts, socks and footwear.
