Annapolis High School PTSA To Sponsor Forum
Candidates for Mayor have been invited to participate in a forum panel discussion on Thursday, August 20 at 7:00 PM in the Annapolis High School Auditorium.
This event is being sponsored by the PTSA as a public service to the members of the Annapolis community. We are interested in hearing about each candidate’s vision as it relates to the schools in the Annapolis cluster. Our hope is to create an opportunity for candidates to meet with their constituency as well as those who may not live within the city limits but have a vested interest in Annapolis High and its feeder schools.
For the Spanish-speaking members of the city, translators or technology to facilitate translation to English will be available.
This sounds like another Moyer-Findlayson ploy to push their boy Cohen. They won’t accept that schools are a county issue. They want to stick their noses into curriculum, policy and now involve local politics. Doesn’t the next mayor of annapolis have enough muck to clean up? Don’t get school policy involved too. Enough already. Findlayson should run for county council if she wants to oversee schools in Annapolis. Oh wait, that’s why she wants Cohen to get elected mayor, isn’t it? Just what we need — another expensive special election. One more reason Cohen should stay where he is.
