Judd Legum Announces Candidacy For Maryland District 30
Judd Legum has announced his candidacy for the District 30 seat in the Maryland House of Delegates. According to his website, Legum is pursuing the office, “because of the big challenges we face in Maryland – a failing effort to restore the Chesapeake Bay, a looming energy shortage and a struggling economy. I know we need new energy and a new perspective in Annapolis if we want to stop treading water and start making progress.”
Legum has a history in politics including consultancies with the Hilary Clinton presidential bid and more locally and recently with Josh Cohen as he runs for Mayor of Annapolis. Legum maintains a blog, Legum’s New Line that focuses on local, state and occasionally national politics.
