Thankfully, the police were able to catch Keith Darell Jones, who apparently was hiding in the ladies room of the Wendy’s fast food restaurant on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie on March 8th. Hopefully, our court system will work and this guy will head to jail for a reasonable amount of time.
When things like this happen, it is always a good time to remind everyone that we do not live in the 1800s and there are bad guys out there. Just heeding some common-sense tips can keep you safe:
Walk in well lit areas- Be aware of your surroundings
- Make sure people you trust know your schedule
- Whenever practical travel in groups or pairs
- When in doubt, trust your gut
