So You Followed Me On Twitter

Hi and welcome! If you landed here, there is a good chance you clicked on my link in my Twitter profile. Or perhaps you are really good at guessing URLs.

I wanted to create this page to give you some background on who you just followed. But, before we go there, thank you for following me!

So, here is the condensed version about me!

Who am I?

I am John Frenaye and one of the hats I wear is as the publisher of Eye On Annapolis. I won’t bore you with the details, but if you want to learn more about Eye On Annapolis, go here and you can learn all you like! On the personal side, I am the father of three great kids, have a wide variety of interests, and live in Annapolis, Maryland. Being a single dad of three (all out of college at this point, so I am poor) I never take myself too seriously and always try to maintain my sense of humor–and hopefully, you will see that in my tweets, Facebook postings, and writing.

What I do

As for my other non-Annapolis hats… I also own a company called Single Parent Travel which is a niche travel agency specializing in (obviously enough) trips for single parents and their kids. I am also a travel writer and have written extensively for MSNBC as well as other publications both in print and online. I also pen a weekly column for a travel industry trade journal called Travel Research Online. Via my travel antics, I have honed my social media, blogging, and Web ~~2.0~~ 3.0 craft. While I cannot write a lick of code, I can blog, tweet, and Facebook with the best of them! My strengths lie in building communities and engaging people in conversations–online and off! My friends say I never stop talking when we are out!

I am a frequent speaker at travel-related shows, conferences, and conventions and will impart my wisdom about running a successful agency, utilizing social media to build your brand or anything else that comes to mind. In addition, I have consulted with several companies locally to help them develop, establish, and nurture a social media presence. I utilize my various resources to help build awareness.
