Eastport

After two hundred years as farmland, Eastport was developed as a village in 1868. It quickly became an integrated community centered around seafood and the boatbuilding industry. In the 1880s, a glass works on Second Street and a growing interest in marinas and yachting brought even more families to town. By the early 1900s, Eastport had become a thriving community with unique stores, restaurants, and services that to this day sets them apart as a destination within Annapolis. Today the Eastport landscape is dotted with maritime businesses, local service shops, galleries, and some of the City’s best restaurants!
