Twilight open house at Greenstreet Gardens to benefit Captain Avery House

Usher in the holiday season and support the Captain Avery Museum at Greenstreet Garden’s annual Twilight Open House on Friday, November 17, from 6 to 9 pm. Join us for the unveiling of Greenstreet’s 2017 holiday display. Nibble on specialties from local restaurants, sip beer and wine, listen to beautiful music, and support Captain Avery Museum’s upcoming calendar of community events. Cost is $20 per person and all proceeds go to the Captain Avery Museum.

Food and wine will be donated by Skippers Pier, South County Café, Happy Harbor, Ledo’s Pizza, Deale Umai Sushi House, Coffee Table Food Truck, Sandy Point Donuts, Giovannis, Christopher’s Fine Foods, Honey Hive Bakery, Chesapeake Grill and Deli, Whistle Stop Winery, Calvert Brewing Company, and Friday’s Creek Winery.

Courtlyn Carr, a singer, songwriter, and composer will perform at the open house. A native of Annapolis now residing in Philadelphia, Courtlyn has appeared locally at Rams Head and the Metropolitan.

Greenstreet Gardens is one of the area’s premier garden centers, with headquarters in Lothian, Maryland and locations in Alexandria and Del Ray, Virginia. Owners Ray and Stacy Greenstreet are active in the communities they serve and are year-round supporters of the museum.
