NAACP announces its 43rd Freedom Fund Banquet

On November 17, 2017, the Anne Arundel County NAACP Branch will host its 43rd Annual Freedom Fund Banquet to recognize the outstanding achievement and contributions of citizens that have made a difference in our community. This year’s theme is “The Fight Continues: Steadfast and Immovable”.

The location of the Freedom Fund Banquet will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel in Annapolis, MD, in which the event will start at 7pm and promptly end at 10pm.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. E. Faye Williams, President and CEO of the National Congress of Black Women, Inc.

  • Freedom Fun Award: Derrick Farmer
  • Humanitarian Award: Carolyn Meushaw
  • Humanitarian Award: Darius Stanton
  • Business Award of the Year: Kingdom Kafe & Lounge
  • Youth & College Award: DaJuan Gay
  • Youth High School Award: Niya Harden
  • Youth High School Award: Ronaejah Smith
  • Youth High School Award: Kyree Stinson
