Davy Knowles at Rams Head On Stage this Wednesday

Davy Knowles is on the road again, this time in support of several recent projects. And on November 8th, he will be in Annapolis at Rams Head On Stage. On April 28 he released a new EP titled 1932, presenting a collection of songs performed exclusively on his cherished 1932 National Guitar which he purchased during his first tour of the U.S. He shares, “I’ve always found my old National guitar to be such an inspiring instrument. It’s always given that ‘instant mojo’ to every track I’ve used it on in the past. I thought it was high time I did a project purely on this fantastic machine.”

In March the guitarist launched his monthly Official Bootleg series that can be purchased for $8.00. The digital downloads are only available through his site, and each EP features six live tracks. The inaugural set presents the vocalist / guitarist performing “What You’re Made Of,” “Riverbed,” “Falling Apart,” “Coming Up For Air,” “Come Home,” and a cover of the Traffic classic “Dear Mr. Fantasy.” All recordings were captured on an East Coast tour of the U.S. The second installment, “#2,” culls performances from a recent Mid-West U.S. run, presenting a brand-new song titled “First Words of a Changing Man,” alongside “Never Gonna Be The Same,” “Overload,” “Gotta Leave,” “Garbage Man” (Muddy Waters), and the title track from his late-2016 release Three Miles From Avalon.

Three Miles From Avalon entered the Billboard Blues chart at #5, sharing the top ten the week of release with Joe Bonamassa, Eric Clapton, Bonnie Raitt, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Keb Mo’ and others.

From The Netherlands, to the UK, to Las Vegas, and everywhere in between, 2017 has seen Knowles bring his high octane live show to new audiences the world over, and he shows no signs of slowing down.
