Teen in critical condition after being hit by fellow party-goer in Severn hit-and run

On October 28th 2017 at approximately 2:10am officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck in the 7900 block of WB&A Road near Thompson Rd in Severn.

Witnesses reported that the pedestrian, a 17-year old female from Brooklyn Park, had left a ‘house party’ in the 7800 block of WB&A Rd and was walking southbound in the northbound lane with a group of people. The suspect vehicle, believed to be occupied by attendees of the same party, was driving northbound at a high rate of speed and struck the victim who was apparently unable to get out of the vehicle’s path.

The pedestrian was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with critical, life threatening injuries. The driver and vehicle did not remain at the scene. The primary cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Traffic Safety Section.

Police are searching for a silver vehicle with broken headlight assembly (clear portion) and windshield damage. Should also have tinted windows.
