Staples Law Group to donate to USVI recovery

The Staples Law Group, LLC, a boutique litigation law Firm, based in Annapolis, Maryland has pledged 1% of the Firm’s gross revenues from September 1, 2017 through January 1, 2018 to assist the people of the United States Virgin Islands, whose lives have been devastated by Hurricane Irma.

Owner of the Staples Law Group, Ted Staples is a frequent visitor to the USVI, particularly St. John, and holds a strong affinity for the culture and lifestyle represented by the people of these once lush paradise islands. “It’s hard to imagine what these people are going through, nothing can compare to the total loss and devastation that these people currently face. A country based mainly on tourism will have a steep climb to get back to where they once were, but I am confident that they will get there” explained Staples, further stating, “I personally know how strong the residents are and they will certainly stick together and rebuild, and I look forward to returning and doing what I can from afar in the meantime.

The Staples Law Group will partner with St. John Rescue, Inc. (http://www.stjohnrescue.com/). This all volunteer organization is dedicated to saving lives and building a better community through participation, education, and community spirit. St John Rescue was chartered to provide: emergency rescue and medical support services to EMS, VI Police, and VI Fire, National Park Service, United States Coast Guard, VITEMA, FEMA, and health clinic personnel. Safety and medical support and services for community events and activities, along with equipment and supplies as shared resources within the St John community.
