Panel Discussion: Did President Lincoln protect or manipulate the Constitution

St Johns McDowell HallThe Caritas Society of St. John’s College invites the community to participate in this year’s fall fundraiser event “Lincoln & the Constitution: A Panel Discussion” featuring St. John’s College faculty members George Russell and David Townsend, and Back Creek Books owner Rock Toews. The panelists will address the question, Did President Abraham Lincoln’s executive orders protect or manipulate the Constitution?

Gavin Buckley - Democrat for Mayor

The event will be held on Sunday, November 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the FSK Auditorium at St. John’s College. A book sale and reception will follow the discussion. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the door. Proceeds will benefit financial assistance for St. John’s College students.
