Maryland Concert Series presents Paul Reed Smith Band this Saturday

The stage will rock and the audience will be dancing in their seats when the Maryland Concert Series presents the Paul Reed Smith Band 7:30 p.m. Saturday October 21, 2017 at North County High School, 10 E. First Ave in Ferndale MD.

The Paul Reed Smith Band is best known for what it describes as “Chesapeake gumbo” – a combination of funk, rock, blues, r and b, Cajun swing, reggae and Baltimore inspired “bad to the bones grooves.”

Paul Reed Smith, the iconic Eastern shore guitar maker and musician has performed with Carlos Santana and countless rock icons. The Paul Reed Smith Band has recorded several albums and performed on stages around the world.

The band is anchored by the world famous Grainger Brothers in the rhythm section, Michael Ault and Bill Nelson on guitars, Mia Samone on vocals and Paul Reed Smith on guitar.

Most people familiar with Paul Reed Smith would first describe him as a guitar maker, however behind the scenes, he’s an avid songwriter, recording enthusiast and band leader.

Aside from his family, friends, and business, one of the most important things in Paul Reed Smith’s life is his music — his songwriting, guitar playing, recording, and performing. “It’s just an honor for me to play, at 60 I could be in a worse spot but I’m having fun.” said Paul Reed Smith.

Tickets cost $25 for adults and $10 for children under the age of 18. All seating is general admission.
