In January 2017, officers responded to the 100 block of Homeland Road in Pasadena for a fatal overdose. Detectives from the Heroin Task Force responded and identified the victim as a 27 year old male from Pasadena. Over the course of the investigation, detectives interviewed numerous witnesses and sifted through many pieces of evidence.
