Knights of Columbus to host “Boo Bingo” on October 21st

In anticipation of Halloween, Knights of Columbus Council #11552—St. Andrew By the Bay will hold a family-oriented “Boo Bingo” event Saturday, October 21 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. at St. Andrew By the Bay’s upper hall. Twenty games of bingo will be played throughout the evening for prizes ranging from $50 or more worth of restaurant gift cards to four watercraft rentals, skating and laser tag packages, a Pandora bracelet, and much more.

As a special bonus, there will be a costume contest with additional prizes for the most original children’s costume, cutest boy and girl costume, most original adult costume, best adult couple costume, and best family costume.

In addition, raffle tickets for six fabulous prizes will be held both before and during the event, with the winners being selected at the end of the evening: an Apple Watch, four VIP tickets to Lego BrickFest Live (two weeks after the bingo event), a special night out at Muse Paintbar for four, four tickets aboard Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, and more than $240 worth of brunch at local restaurants.

Hot dogs, Papa Johns pizza, and Chick Fil A chicken tenders will be available for purchase during the evening along with drinks and homemade desserts.

Boo Bingo! Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Raffle Tickets are $1/each or $5/six. Tickets will be sold after Masses on 9/30 &10/1, 10/7&8 and 10/14&15. They will also be for sale at the Parish Office during normal business hours and online at https://kofc.ticketleap.com/bingo. Proceeds benefit the charitable activities of Knights of Columbus Council #11552—St. Andrew By the Bay.

“This is the first time our Council is having an event of this kind, and I promise it will be a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween and have a fun time,” said Deputy Grand Knight and Event Chair Kevin Kohler.
