Annapolis man wanted in connection with Edgewater stabbing

On October 19, 2017 at approximately 4:27 p.m., officers responded to a call for a stabbing. The 911 caller stated to police dispatchers that his friend had been stabbed and that they were currently driving to a hospital. The police dispatcher had the driver pull over in the area of Solomons Island Road and Mitchells Chance Road where they were met by both police and fire department personnel. Inside the vehicle, officers located a 20 year old male victim suffering from four stab wounds to his abdomen.

The investigation revealed that the victim and suspects agreed to meet in the 300 block of Millswamp Road in Edgewater to fight over a long standing dispute. During the fight, one suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim. Two other suspects are alleged to have kicked and punched the victim during the altercation.

The victim was transported to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries. Officers located and arrested one suspect identified as Steven Alphonso Creek. Two other suspects, John Talbot (stabbing suspect), and Brandon Louis-Downs have active warrants for the assault.

At this time it is unknown what circumstances led the dispute/ assault.
