Y in Central Maryland scheduled annual Turkey Trot, registration open

Be a part of a Thanksgiving Day tradition and join The Y in Central Maryland and title sponsor LifeBridge Health for the annual Y Turkey Trot Charity 5K. Join thousands of individuals, families, kids, and even a few dogs as they run, walk, jog, stroll and, most importantly, raise critically-needed funds so children living in poverty throughout Central Maryland have access to Y programs that will help positively shape their lives. On Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23, 2017, the Y will host its Turkey Trot Charity 5K in Arnold, Baltimore City, Bel Air, Ellicott City, Perry Hall, Towson and Westminster.

Each Y Turkey Trot will feature a 5K Run/Walk, and medals will be awarded in each age group. Prizes will also be awarded to the top fundraisers. Participants will receive an official race t-shirt. Proceeds benefit children whose families can’t afford educational and enrichment opportunities, such as Y Preschool and Camp.
