On August 5, 2017 at approximately 05:30 am officers were dispatched to the Emergency Room at Anne Arundel Medical Center in reference to a shooting. The black male victim walked into the Emergency Room suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was flown to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment. The victim’s condition is unknown. Officers were able locate a crime scene in the 1100 block of Madison St.
The victim has been identified as Scott Lewis Sanders, 27 of Annapolis. Sanders is listed in stable condition at University of Maryland Shock Trauma.
