According to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesperson, Lt. Erik Kornmeyer, one person had died this morning in a house fire in Shady Side in the 1500 block of Lincoln Road.
The call for the fire came in at about 10:45am this morning and upon arrival, crews found a small single family home fully engulfed. Mutual aid was provided by Annapolis City and Calvert County fire departments.
A cause, damage estimate, or the name of the deceased have not been released.
