Edwin Espinal’s leadoff solo shot in the fourth off of Bowie RHP Brandon Barker put the Curve on the board and cut the lead to 2-1.

In the five-run fifth, Altoona had runners at the corners with two outs before Espinal and Logan Hilldelivered back-to-back RBI singles and Jhang knocked home both with a three-run shot off of Barker to make it a 6-2 game for the time being. All five runs came with two outs.

Barker (n/d) gave up six runs on six hits while walking one and fanning four in 2.0 IP.
