RHP Kurt Spomer (1.1 IP, 3 BB, K) got the win for Erie to even his win at 3-3 on the year.

Bowie had runners at first and second with two outs in the 14th, but Spomer got Wilkerson to pop out to short and end the contest.

Trailing 3-2, the Baysox tied it with a run in the 11th as Erick Salcedo drew a leadoff walk, took second on a sac bunt, went to third on an infield single and scored on Austin Wynns’ RBI groundout.

Zach Cox’s two-out RBI single in the top half of the inning had given Erie a lead for the time being. The run was charged to RHP Ryan Meisinger (2.0 IP, 2 H, R, ER, 2 BB, 3 K).

Wilkerson’s solo shot in the home half of the fourth gave the Baysox a 1-0 lead. The home run was Wilkerson’s third of the season.

Erie got the run back in the fifth as Cox reached with a two-out single, advanced to third on a single and scored on a wild pitch charged to Bowie starter David Hess.

Hess (n/d) allowed the one run on five hits while walking one and fanning one in 6.2 IP.

Crouse (n/d) gave up two runs on seven hits to go along with two walks and four strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Marin (3-6, 2B, RBI) and Wilkerson (3-6, HR, RBI, R) both delivered multi-hit games for manager Gary Kendall’s squad. Garabez Rosa singled to extend his hitting streak to 10 games.
