Annapolis Police investigating 2nd homicide of the year

On January 23rd at 8:25 p.m. officers responded to the 1200 block of Madison Street for a report of shots fired. Officers located an adult male shooting victim in the 1100 block of Madison Street. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.
The shooting happened in the Harbour House community in Eastport. This community is managed by the Housing Authority for the City of Annapolis (HACA). Just last week, another shooting claimed the life of George Forrester in the Newtowne 20 community which is also managed by HACA.

Last year was the deadliest year on record for Annapolis with 10 homicides.

Officers and Detectives are on scene investigating this homicide.
