Woman charged with attempted murder after attempt at “cutting the demons” from grandmother

attempted-murderOn November 27, 2016 at approximately 7:25 a.m.,, officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of 2nd Street, Pasadena in reference to a family violence. The caller, a family member who was not on scene, stated that an elderly female victim was stabbed by her Granddaughter numerous times.  When officers arrived, they located an 82 year old suffering from multiple stab wounds. The suspect was located and was placed into custody without incident.  Fire Department personnel responded and transported the victim by ambulance to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. She has since been released from the hospital.

Investigation would reveal that the suspect stabbed the victim in order to “cut the demons out of her”.  The suspect was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. She will be charged with attempted murder and other related assault charges upon her release from the hospital.

Suspect: Savannah Esperson Weaver, 20 year old female, 500 block of 2nd Street in Pasadena
