Providence Center, a non-profit organization that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Anne Arundel County, announced today that its 2nd annual Light the Night Harvest Bash held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, raised more than $102,000 for its programs and services that support nearly 500 men and women.
“Our 2016 Light the Night Harvest Bash was a huge success thanks to our many generous sponsors and contributors and the hard work of our talented event committee chaired by Colleen Baldwin,” said Joan Miller, Providence Center’s Interim CEO. She added, “We rely on events like our Bash to continue to empower people to live more independent, contributing lives in our community. This event will have a big and lasting impact on our programs and on the lives of the individuals who count on us.”
More than 300 guests attended the tented evening event at Providence Center’s Greenhouse and Gardens at 370 Shore Acres Road in Arnold. The Harvest Bash featured live music by the Doug Segree Band, a fall menu by Adams Taphouse and Grille of Severna Park, beer tastings, Providence Center products for sale, and a live and silent auction.
