One firefighter suffered a minor injury and was transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center.

The building was the headquarters for Pirates of the Chesapeake Bay which had just ended their season this past weekend. The adjoining business, Annapolis Canoe and Kayak suffered smoke damage as well.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation and there is no damage estimate available.  Third Street remains closed at this time between Severn Avenue and Spa Creek.
