Police make arrest in recent murder, another suspect still at large

This is an update to a prior story.

On September 8, 2016 at 8:41 p.m. officers from the Annapolis Police Department arrested Brandon Johnson, 21, of Annapolis for his role in the murder of Davon Jones.  Johnson was arrested in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive.

Brandon Johnson was observed prior to the murder with the shooter.  Brandon Johnson handed the shooter a gun that the shooter then used to murder Davon Jones.    

Johnson has been charged with first degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a violent crime, and four other charges related to the crime.  Johnson is being held at the Jennifer Road Detention Center on $1,500,000 bond.
