Marijuana fallout: new cottage industry springs up–cannabis branding

Brand JointBrand Joint, an Annapolis-based branding agency designing exclusively for the cannabis industry, has partnered with Kim Mohr and Erin Olexia of Dream House Studios to provide interior design services for Maryland and East Coast dispensaries.

As the legalization of medical marijuana programs spreads across the United States, Brand Joint Owner and Chief Creative, Jennifer Culpepper sees the opportunity for entrepreneurs to lead the industry through strategic branding and creative design. She believes cannabis businesses that understand the value of strong branding will have a competitive edge in this emerging industry.

“We’re excited to begin this unique partnership with Dream House Studios,” said Culpepper. “For dispensaries in particular, the interior space is a crucial element of the entire brand experience. Together, we can offer dispensaries a collaborative design approach, resulting in a consistent brand experience for patients and consumers.”

Brand Joint develops authentic brands for high-quality cannabis products and services through smart brand strategy and strong design. With over 20 years of award-winning design experience, the Brand Joint team creates targeted consumer experiences and tells a brand’s story through visual elements, such as logos, websites and packaging design.
