Anne Arundel’s Economic Development chairman resigns after arrest

County Executive Steve Schuh today accepted the resignation of Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation Chief Executive Officer Robert Hannon.

Hannon resigned on the heels of his recent arrest for burglary in Eastport where he is accused of entering a neighbor’s apartment and stealing her underwear.

Mr. Hannon’s resignation is effective immediately. Chief Administrative Officer Mark Hartzell will continue to act as AAEDC CEO until a permanent replacement is selected.
