On August 13, 2016 at approximately 11:45 a.m. Western District Officers from the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to a double shooting in the 7400 block of Montevideo Court in Jessup..
Upon arrival they found an adult male, and an adult female, deceased within the home from apparent gunshot wounds. Investigation revealed the victims were both residents of the home. One of the victims had suffered what appeared to be a self-inflicted wound.
This incident is isolated in nature and there is no threat to public safety. Further details will be released pending the notification of next of kin.
