Junior League announces new member open house

juniorleagueJunior League of Annapolis, Inc. (JLA) invites women in the community who are interested in learning more about joining the Junior League to attend their second New Member Open House on Tuesday, September 13 from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM at 1747 Pub at Reynolds Tavern. 

All women over the age of 21 years, living in Anne Arundel County and its vicinity, are invited to attend the New Member Open House and apply for membership to the organization’s fall 2016 provisional training class.

The New Member Open House offers prospective members the opportunity to learn about the mission and activities of the Junior League, as well as the chance to speak with current members about their volunteer and social experiences within the organization.

We are a network of 340 women dedicated to supporting women and children in Anne Arundel County and driven to develop ourselves into effective community volunteers and leaders.  We are businesswomen, lawyers, teachers, doctors, accountants, community board members, and entrepreneurs promoting early literacy and making college accessible to first generation of college applicants.  We are your mothers, daughters, and sisters, and friends joined together to empower women and improve the community.” – Craig Friedrich, 2015-2016 President.
