The local public accounting and business advisory firm of HeimLantz is pleased to announce that its firm administrator, Laura Macauley, has been elected to the role of president for the District of Columbia chapter of the CPA Firm Management Association (CPAFMA).

Macauley has held various roles at HeimLantz over the years and is a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. In her current role as firm administrator, she oversees a variety of departments and several staff members. In addition to CPAFMA, Macauley is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA). She attended the University of Baltimore and resides in Cape St. Clare, Maryland.
