Baysox home tonight through Sunday–promotions galore!

Baysox Mannyion BobbleheadThe Bowie Baysox are home Tuesday, Aug. 16 through Sunday, Aug. 21 for a seven game homestand against the Hartford Yard Goats and Akron RubberDucks. The Baysox will act as the road team on the first three days against Hartford as the games were originally scheduled to be played on the road prior to stadium construction delays in Hartford.

Tuesday, Aug. 16, 6:35 p.m. vs. Hartford Yard Goats – Giveaway Closet Cleanout – The first 250 fans (ages 6 and older) through the main stadium gates will receive a random numbered card that will correspond to a giveaway item at one of several locations throughout the stadium. Items include Bobble Heads, T-shirts and other items. Bobble Head and T-shirt cards will have the name of a specific player or celebrity on it. Cards can be redeemed at the appropriate table to claim the giveaway item 

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1:05 p.m. vs. Hartford Yard Goats – Single Admission Doubleheader. Both games will be seven-inning contests.

Friday, Aug. 19, 7:05 p.m. vs. Akron RubberDucks – Fireworks, Glow in the Park Night with Glow Stick giveaway. Help light up the stadium after the lights go out for the fireworks show with your own glow stick. Football Friday – A kick-off to the football season with a baseball spin. Wear your favorite team’s gear, enjoy football contests and more.

Saturday, Aug. 20, 6:35 p.m. vs. Akron RubberDucks – Fireworks, Glow in the Park Night with Glow Stick giveaway. Help light up the stadium after the lights go out for the fireworks show with your own glow stick. PITCH Night – After the game, be one of the first to see the premiere episode of the new FOX tv show PITCH, which premieres nationally on September 22. Fans will be able to sit in the outfield (weather permitting) to watch the show in the videoboard. PITCH is rated TV14 

Sunday, Aug. 21, 2:05 p.m. vs. Akron RubberDucks – PAW Patrol Day 2 – Fans will have the opportunity to meet and take photos with Chase, Rocky and Rubble before and during the game. Members of Louie’s Kids Club who purchase Kids Eat Free tickets will gain early entrance for a special character meet & greet. City of Bowie Centennial Anniversary Celebration with Bowie Centennial T-Shirt Giveaway for the 1st 500 fans 13 and older. Faith Day – Following today’s game, WGTS 91.9 FM presents a live performance by Josh Wilson. Concert admission is included with your Baysox game ticket. Concert is scheduled to begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Fans can also See the Pope’s Fiat, presented by Catholic Charities of DC. See the same Fiat 500 that Pope Francis rode around in while in DC last September. Fans can take their picture with the car on the concourse at no cost during the game. The car will be parked on the concourse beginning when gates open at 1 pm through the 7th inning. There will also be a school supplies drive to benefit the Catholic Charities Family Preservation Program.

The 2016 Bowie Baysox season is presented by Money One Federal Credit Union. The Baysox 2016 season is underway. Don’t miss a minute of the action as the Baysox defend their 2015 Eastern League Championship. Single game tickets are now on sale at www.baysox.com.
