Partners in Care Annual Bull & Oyster Roast scheduled for November–save the date!

Partners In Care Bull and Oyster RoastPartners In Care is a Pasadena, MD based community non-profit who will host their annual Bull & Oyster Roast on Friday, November 18th, 2016 at Michael’s 8th Avenue in Glen Burnie from 6 to 11pm. The famous New Censation band will provide music and entertainment.

The event will feature dancing, 50/50 raffle, Money Wheel, Basket Raffle and huge silent auction with a variety of valuable items, including baskets of cheer, trips, services, event tickets, memberships, dinners-for-two, and store gift certificates.

Sponsors to date include: 1 North Wealth Services, PMG, Holden Campbell Attorneys at Law, Williams Associates Engineers, Friendship Creative Printers, Cameleon Designs, L’attitude38° and DAASN.

Tickets are $55 before October 14th, $75 after, and include all-you-can-eat oysters, pit beef, pit turkey, pit ham, Italian sausage, BBQ pork, hot dogs, chili, and more. Beer and wine are also included in the ticket price. A cash bar is available for other top shelf beverages. Proceeds from the annual event will benefit Partners In Care Maryland, a 501(c)3 community nonprofit helping older adults remain independent in their own homes and engaged in the community. Operating in Anne Arundel County since 1993, Partners In Care provides member care services, transportation, home repairs, advocacy, socialization, meaningful volunteer engagement, the Upscale, Resale Boutique, emergency preparedness, help during transitions, and encore career opportunities to help people age-in-place in the homes and communities they love. Staying true to the organization’s core values, each week volunteers have provided 199 volunteer rides, 82 bus trips, 60 member care tasks and over 10 handyman jobs. Over 466 member exchanges each week, supporting older adults’ independence. Orientation programs are held twice per month for new volunteer members to get involved.
