Independence Day revelry got a little out of hand for an Annapolis man who ended his night in Baltimore at the shock-trauma center.
Around 2:00am on Tuesday morning, Thomas Exarahkis of Annapolis, left a downtown bar and ended up smashing a plate glass window at the SunTrust Bank at 152 Main Street.
Exarahkis was tended to by a local restaurant employee who applied a tourniquet to slow the bleeding until emergency crews arrived. He was treated at the scene and transported to the R. Adams Crowley Shock-Trauma Center in Baltimore for severe lacerations. The injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Crews remained on the scene and cleaned the bloodied sidewalk.
According to the Annapolis Police Department, officers were unable to determine if the window was broken accidentally or intentionally and no charges were filed.
