And what others are saying….

“People really need to show up early to hear Hollis Brown. They are just an unbelievable live band.” – Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Boston Herald

“…We can ascertain that the band has excellent taste, are pursuing a distinguished tradition, and also might be pretty good. And they are.” – Yahoo Music

“Hollis Brown [is] one of New York’s more promising young acts.” – Village Voice

“Most impressive is that Hollis Brown makes it all seem easy. The five piece gels as one and the music rolls off them with the confidence, control, and dedication of a band on their fifth album, not their second.” – American Songwriter

“So what is it that finally put Hollis Brown on the map? Who cares. Point is, we’re all hooked.” – Elmore Magazine

“The Queens, New York band has a richness and authenticity that is associated with classic rock bands. It may be unfair to Hollis Brown to characterize them as a band from 40 years ago, because their music really is timeless.  Their lyrics are expressive and poetic. As you listen to each track a story unravels.” – Pancakes and Whiskey
