Maryland Governor Larry Hogan will be in attendance for the Baysox Cancer Awareness Event Sunday, July 24 at 2:05 p.m.
The Baysox will be hosting a “Bobblection” where fans will have the choice between a bobble head depicting the Governor with or without hair. The giveaway consists of 500 of each bobble head for fans 18 and older beginning when gates open at 1:00 p.m.
The Baysox team will wear lime green jerseys to spread awareness for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma that will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Hair Cuttery will be providing Cuts for Cancer with proceeds raised from haircuts provided at the stadium during the game going to charity.
Local gyms and Baysox partners SportFit Bowie and Premiere Fitness Health Club in Annapolis will also be raising money through a Cycling Challenge. Teams from both gyms are accepting pledge donations and will race on stationary bikes at the stadium during the game with the team that has traveled the farthest declared the winner.
