Anne Arundel County Police break up Pasadena marijuana grow operation

On July 8, 2016, the Narcotics and Special Investigations Section, Major Offender Unit with the assistance of the Special Operations Section executed a search warrant at 8373 Youngbar Drive, Pasadena Maryland 21122.

Located in the basement of the residence was an indoor marijuana grow operation. Recovered from the basement were 536 marijuana plants ranging from seedlings to mature plants plus 11.44 pounds of marijuana ready for packaging. The estimated street value of the marijuana recovered was $159,880.00.

In the master bedroom 30.64 grams of cocaine which was packaged for distribution with an estimated street value of $3,064.00. Additionally, 185 Oxycodone pills, various other prescription pills with an estimated street value of $5,600.00 and U.S. currency was recovered.

Suspect: Richard Paul Youngbar, 10/17/1959, 8300 block Youngbar Drive, Pasadena MD 21122

Charges:

Possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, manufacturing marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone hydrochloride, and possession of oxycodone hydrochloride with intent to distribute.
