Put together happy hour, sailing and cruising on Harbor Queen and it doesn’t get any more Annapolis than this! Cruises on the Bay™ by Watermark® is excited to begin another season of Wednesday Night Races Cruises onboard Harbor Queen. This cruise provides front seat viewing of the race from the water. Snack on complimentary happy hour appetizers and sip on a cocktail from the fully stocked River Run Bar. It’ll be the most picturesque way to spend a happy hour this summer! The first Wednesday Night Races Cruise was on June 15.

The Wednesday Night Races Cruise departs City Dock at 6:00 p.m. The two-hour cruise is a great opportunity to watch the races. “Just because Harbor Queen is a power boat doesn’t mean she shouldn’t get in on the fun of the Wednesday Night Races,” says Debbie Gosselin, President of Watermark, “Everyone would love to have a friend with a boat and if you don’t, you’re a friend of Watermark! Step aboard Queen with us and watch the beautiful sailboats dance around the Harbor.” After a 2015 Wednesday Night Races Cruise, guest “AI G G” posted on TripAdvisor, “Best Deal in Annapolis. We did the two hour Wednesday evening sailboat race cruise. The Captain was particularly knowledgeable about racing and managed to convey a sense of excitement and appreciation to even the non-sailors. He maneuvered the boat so that we could see the start and finish of the races. It didn’t hurt to have absolutely perfect weather, including a rainbow from a storm over Kent Island.”

The races have been a summer tradition in Annapolis since the 1960s. Annapolitans ease into the weekend by watching the races from the waterfront and waterways. The races start with the blast of a starting gun in the harbor and dozens of sailboats head to the starting line in the Severn River and race to the finish line in Spa Creek.

Dates for this year’s Wednesday Night Races Cruise on Harbor Queen: June 15, July 13, August 17. Tickets for the Wednesday Night Races Cruise are $32 for Adults and $18 for Children 3-11. Children 2 & Under are Free. Advanced tickets and more information are available online at CruisesOnTheBay.com. Walk-ups are welcome.
