1 killed, 2 injured when car goes off road in Riva

One person was killed last night, June 17th, when a Mustang GT with four occupants veered off the road and into the woods around 10:45pm.

Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed along Beards Point Road when it lost control near Beards Creek Drive.

One person was killed instantly, and two others were flown to shock trauma by MSP helicopter in critical condition. A fourth person was not injured and evaluated at the scene by EMS.
